Every tour includes:

• Bike lock can be provided if requested in advance.

Every tour is different. Keep in mind that this is your tour, and your guide will curate each tour to match, as best as possible, each guest’s skills and desires! Booking a private tour will make this even easier to achieve, as there will be less guests to work around.

Tours are typically:

• Between 5-10 miles, and

• around 1000-2000ft of climbing

• Up to 4 hours.

• We recommend athletic clothing, similar to what you would wear on a hike! Keep in mind that you will warm up a lot once we start pedaling, so it is a good idea to go by the age-old saying “be bold, start cold”.

• Athletic shoes, vans, or any shoes with textured soles and some support.

• Although July through mid-September is predictably dry, the rest of the year can be quite rainy. We recommend bringing gore-tex rain gear along, and extra layers in case base layers get wet.

• Water. Though we provide .75L water bottles for each tour, we recommend bringing a backpack with a hydration reservoir during the hot summer months.

We provide flat pedals only. If you like riding with “clipless” pedals, bring your own pedals and we’ll be happy to put them on the bike for you.

While we promise you will have a better time with a guide, we do rent bikes alone. We have a fleet of full suspension mountain bikes for rent, which we can be picked up at our shop or delivered straight to the trailhead. 50% store credit will be issued for cancellations due to any circumstance up to two weeks in advance of tour or rental date. Tours are rain or shine. Dig Deep Tours will only cancel a tour due to unsafe riding conditions, such a high winds or unhealthy air quality.
